Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Quizmandu mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Eligibility

Quizmandu is available to anyone preparing for Lok Sewa Aayog examinations. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access at support@quizmandu.com
  • Each account is for individual use only — sharing accounts with others is prohibited

4. Subscription and Payments

  • Quizmandu offers both free and paid subscription tiers
  • All payments are processed exclusively through eSewa in Nepali Rupees (NPR)
  • Paid subscriptions are valid for a fixed duration specified at the time of purchase and do not renew automatically
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 14 days' advance notice

5. Refund Policy

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original purchase date
  • Refunds are processed at our discretion and issued to the original payment method via eSewa
  • No refunds are issued for subscription periods that have been partially or fully used beyond 7 days
  • To request a refund, contact support@quizmandu.com with your transaction details

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Quizmandu — including practice questions, mock exam papers, explanations, scoring algorithms, and software — is owned by or licensed to Quizmandu. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission.

Questions in the Quizmandu bank are adapted from publicly available Lok Sewa Aayog exam materials. Quizmandu is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Lok Sewa Aayog.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share account credentials or allow multiple users on one account
  • Use Quizmandu content or practice answers to cheat in actual government examinations
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract content from the application
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without authorisation

8. Disclaimers

Quizmandu is provided "as is" for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee exam success, specific scores, or employment outcomes. While we strive to keep our question bank accurate and up-to-date, we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the latest changes to official Lok Sewa Aayog syllabi at all times. Always refer to official Lok Sewa Aayog notices for authoritative exam information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Nepal, Quizmandu and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including but not limited to lost employment opportunities, exam failures, or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app or by emailing support@quizmandu.com.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nepal.
